DESCRIPTION
A small island community in the Jura distillery, it finds time to mature, stretched by the changing seasons and tempered by a unique microclimate. Each year brings its own richness to the uniqueness of this 18 years old whisky.
Aged for eighteen long years in ex-bourbon American white oak casks, this whisky is then beautifully enriched with a finish in premium red Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux barrels from the south of France. The result is an incredibly rich and fruity whisky with flavors of cooked raspberries, spices, rich caramel, and custard anglaise.
TASTING NOTE
Colour: Rosewood gold
Nose: Bold red fruits, toffee, crème anglaise and cinnamon.
Palate: Warm spice and rich black forest fruit, bolstered by cooked raspberries and strawberries and a hint of chocolate.
Finish: Long, complex, wood, berries, and raisins.
