Mouton Cadet is the brand name of a popular range of modestly priced, generic Bordeaux wines, considered Bordeaux's most successful brand. Created by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton Cadet wine is produced through the assembly of a variety of grapes, from several Bordeaux region appellations.
TASTING NOTE
Colour: Golden yellow with an attractive greenish tint.
Nose: The remarkably fresh and extremely expressive nose reveals boxwood and broom notes typical of the aromatic Sauvignon Blanc grown in the Bordeaux region.
Palate: The direct and fresh attack recalls the aromas found on the nose, while the mid-palate opens up on notes of aromatic herbs such as oregano, leaving an attractive impression of zesty freshness.
