DESCRIPTION
Gapsted Wines is the major brand of the Victorian Alps Winery, which started life (and continues) as a large-scale contract winemaking facility. The quality of the wines made for its own brand has led to the expansion of production not only under that label, but also under a raft of subsidiary labels. As well as the substantial estate plantings, Gapsted sources traditional and alternative grape varieties from the King and Alpine Valleys.

TASTING NOTE
This wine displays ripe red currant aromas with hints of spicy cinnamon and earthy beetroot. These aromas lead to a rich, full flavoured palate brimming with cassis and blackcurrant fruit, delivering a luscious, velvety mocha finish. This complex Cabernet can be enjoyed now or will reward patient cellaring for many years to come.
