DESCRIPTION
Glen Grant is a distillery founded in 1840 in Rothes, Speyside, that produces single malt Scotch whisky. Previously owned by Chivas Brothers Ltd, best known for their Chivas Regal blended scotch whisky, Glen Grant was purchased by the Italian company Campari Group in December 2005.
This sublime single malt reveals mouth-watering layers of apple pie, toffee, caramel, and almonds. On the finish, soft summer fruits linger with honey and hints of spice. In 2016, its initial year of release, our 12 Year Old won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. It also won a double gold award at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and a gold medal from the Beverage Testing Institute followed in 2019, showcasing the consistent quality of our refined single malt scotch.
TASTING NOTE
Colour: Bright gold.
Nose: Honey, pear, and apple, with hints of almond and citrus.
Palate: Apple pie crust, caramel, and vanilla.
Finish: Lingering fruit with subtle hints of spice.
