DESCRIPTION
Coopers Creek Vineyard offers outstanding wines from New Zealand’s best regions: your favourite styles as well as adventurous new international varieties. The Classic range offers wines that are inviting, fruit-forward, delicious and very drinkable.
The 2025 growing season in Marlborough was well balanced, with a steady spring and settled summer conditions that supported even flowering and gradual, consistent ripening.
Sourced primarily from the Calrossie vineyard, the fruit was fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness and varietal clarity. Gentle extraction was used to retain finesse, with the addition of oak during maturation to enhance texture and subtle spice.
TASTING NOTE
Bright ruby in appearance, this Marlborough Pinot Noir opens with lifted aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and soft plum, layered with subtle spice and dried herb notes.
The palate is smooth and fruit-driven, showing pure red berry flavours with a supple, finely textured mid-palate. Balanced acidity brings freshness and definition, while soft, integrated tannins provide gentle structure.
A touch of oak adds subtle spice and roundness, leading to a soft, even finish with lingering fruit clarity.
