DESCRIPTION

Bodegas Luzón is named after the Philippines island of Luzon where founder Don José de Molina retired from in the 19th century to set up the estate, is a major player in the Jumilla region of southeast Spain.

Here, the Monastrell grape is king, and Luzón's range is built around it, producing wines that showcase the variety's power and depth. However, they don't stop at Monastrell.

Their portfolio also includes a number of whites, showing diversity and a commitment to innovation. Importantly, Luzón is embracing organic production, a move that reflects a growing awareness of sustainable viticulture in the region.

As one of Jumilla's largest and most respected producers, Luzón's reputation is a good advert for the quality and potential of wines from this sunny corner of Spain.

TASTING NOTE
Dark cherry coloured wine. The nose shows fruity aromas, blackberries, cherries and a touch of spice. In the mouth it is fresh, fruity and with a balanced sweetness.
