DESCRIPTION
Situated in the commune of Martillac, this 20-hectares property once belonged to Baron de Montesquieu. Today, the estate is owned by Mr. Eric Perrin who set up a vast land clearing and plantation programme in the 1980s, rejuvenating this vineyard from the ground up.
The Perrin family also owns the famous Château Carbonnieux. Because of its special localization, its terroir and the choices of wine-making in the vineyard and the cellar, the Château Haut-Vigneau plays between the greatest ones.
TASTING NOTE
Château Haut-Vigneau Blanc 2020 has a shining pale yellow color, with a nice aroma of mango. In the mouth, it reveals more exotic fruits and floral notes, this wine is very young, but has a great potential with a great balance between structure, minerality, acidity and fruits. A typical dry white from Pessac-Léognan appellation.
