Chivas Regal 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky

DESCRIPTION
Chivas Regal is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Chivas Brothers. It was founded in 1786, with its home being in the Strathisla distillery at Keith, Moray in Speyside, Scotland, and is the oldest continuously operating Highland distillery.

Within the 12-year-old Scotch whiskies that go into the signature blend, you’ll find Strathisla single malt, Strathclyde single grain and more to create a whisky that’s remarkably smooth. Distinctive Speyside flavours of crisp orchard fruits and wild heather can be found in every sip of Chivas 12, with a rich and generous taste that’s synonymous with our house style.

TASTING NOTE
Colour: A creamy, aromatic melange of vanilla custard, hints of aniseed, lemon curd and butter toffee. Wood shavings and dried banana chips develop with just a hint of cassis.
Nose: More of those banana chips showing through on the palate, this time there's a creamy hit of barley malt too, pepped up with a little allspice. Notes of ground walnut and caramel.
Palate: Light spice and black pepper on the tail. Lingering notes of cereal sweetness.
Finish: A spicy, beautifully balanced blend. Lots going on here.
