DESCRIPTION
The wine-growing commune in which Château Marcadis is located, is separated from the Pomerol appellation by the Barbanne River.

At the heart of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation, the vineyards of Château Marcadis extend over more than 20 hectares.

Close to where the L’isle and the Dordogne rivers meet and protected to the south-west by the Fronsac mound, the subsoil composed of sand, clay, gravel and silt has been fashioned over the centuries by the rivers which have carried all types of sediment, stones and pebbles.

This unique terroir is the source of the exceptional quality of this estate’s wines which combine power and elegance.

TASTING NOTE
The wine from Château Marcadis has all the characteristics of the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. Powerful and generous on the palate, it also displays finesse, nelegance and aromatic complexity.
