DESCRIPTION
Stags' Leap was established in 1893, which is one of the oldest wineries in Napa Valley, California. The current winemaker, Christophe Paubert, previously worked for great wineries like Chateau Gruaud-Larose, d’Yquem, etc., with exceptional winemaking experience.

Stags’ Leap is well-known for concentrated and delicate Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine gives aromas of rich black fruits with violet and black pepper. A complex and approachable wine with delicate tannins, perfect to drink it now or hold it are good.

TASTING NOTE
The 2015 The Investor is blended of 42% Merlot, 30% Petite Sirah, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 9% Malbec aged 18 months in about 30% new oak.

Very deep garnet-purple in color, it reveals freshly crushed black and red currants, black cherries and unsmoked cigars with hints of violets, chocolate box and cedar.

Full-bodied and packed with vibrant black fruit layers, it has a firm, very fine-grained frame and finishes long and spicy.
