DESCRIPTION
This small estate owns 22 hectares of which 20 are planted with Cabernet Franc and 2 of Chenin Blanc. The vines of the Saumur Champigny Vieilles Vignes are over 40 years old, offering a good ageing potential.
The winery works in a sustainable way and vinifies in a gentle way, extracting tannins at low temperature and ageing half of its production in 500L oak barrels.
TASTING NOTE
Notes of black fruits such as blackberry, blackcurrant, and black cherries, along with spices, such as vanilla, cocoa, and pipe tobacco. A structure in the mouth asserted with fat, fullness and a slight bitterness on the finish giving freshness.
